Joining the Ranks

I'm not sure the problem is training/replacing a pilot, but look at it simply as, the risk they take from some 2000hr captain that spent his last 1-2k hrs in a SEL Turbo prop and now you want him to go to ground school on a 72/5/7, MD11, etc? With all the other already typed and current heavy drivers out there applying, it makes more sense to take them.
