I just talked to Terri Owens on the phone and confirmed my date for July 9th in NYC.... Believe me though it took a LOT of continuous phone calls..... But finally I get to go buy my EXPENSIVE ticket, lol..... She said for me to look for the email today or tomorrow....

Thank you for responding to our inquiry regarding your consideration for an air traffic control specialist position with the FAA.

Leave this paragraph in only if changes are made - We have updated our records to reflect the changes to your personal information. We will also notify the appropriate departments of these changes.


Based on your response, we have reserved a place for you to attend the ATCS Pre-Employment Processing Center (PEPC) which will be held in Memphis, TN July 21 or 22 2008. The PEPC will include your interview and, if you are tentatively selected, you will receive a Tentative Offer Letter providing specific information on your facility assignment, salary, etc. In addition, a security screening, medical evaluation, psychological evaluation, and drug testing will be completed.

All of these activities will take place during one day - Monday or Tuesday for EnRoute selections and Wednesday or Thursday for Terminal selections. Your start time will be provided in your confirmation email. Please be prepared for an all-day event. You will need to make advanced arrangements should you require overnight lodging. All travel costs incurred will be at your expense.

This is what you need to do:

· Respond to this email to terri.ctr.owens@faa.gov.
· Identify the day you will be able to attend – either July 21 or 22 2008
· Respond by (06-30-08).

I am copying our Air Traffic Organization PEPC coordinator, Terri Owens, on this email so she will have all of your contact information and be prepared to receive your response. Once you have confirmed that you will attend, she will send you all of the detailed information about the PEPC program and enrollment, including forms that must be completed prior to your arrival.

Do it during the time of Johnny Mac, Jimbo, Vitas, Guillermo, Wilander, Lendl, Ashe, Noah, etc. (list that many greats that Federer or anyone recently had to constantly go up against) with sub-standard equipment, on grass that now plays like clay and then I will be impressed. No one serves and volleys any more. Wimbledon today was a joke to watch. Look at the wear pattern on the grass, it's all on the baseline (except where the ball-boys and ball-girls kneel at the net).

No doubt about that, the grass is WAY to slow it sucks, I wonder if they do it because they think its more entertaining to most to watch rallies rather than seve/volley 10 sec points, but if you watch Feds first two wimbledon finals, it was serve and volley style. But the baseline play still doesnt hurt him as long as its a fast court, he can dominate fromthe baseline, but your right, all the torn up grass is all baseline. If you youtube those old schoolers, there was more torn up grass at the net rather than the BL.

anyways... its changing. Oh ya and I'll be going to Memphis for the 21st w00t.
