Congrats to "this guy." He worked hard and always made things happen and didn't make excuses. He did a lot for a lot of other pilots too! Great addition to the Военно-морской флот СССР (ВМФ); Voyenno-morskoy flot SSSR!

True. Big improvements are being made weekly in mechanical translation, but it's still pretty easy to spot something that has been translated mechanically. It's all in the vernacular. In mechanical translators, you'll never find, for instance, verbs without subjects preceding them, as you do in real speech in many languages.
