My employer is absolutely in love with the 330 series.
The actual reasons? No clue.
787 & A350 > 330

Touch and go's at KCRW if my memory serves me correctly.Foreplay?
Hawaiian is as well. I talked to a fleet guy on one of my non-revs home and he said in just about every aspect it beats the 767.My employer is absolutely in love with the 330 series.

Is that because you guys couldn't take off from 23?I've watched them do that in person while holding short of 5 (maybe? been a while since I've been there). Pretty damn cool to see.

Too soon?
777 makes money for the company but it's mostly from cargo. The 330 makes way more revenue than any other aircraft in the fleet. Its pretty much a 50/50 spread. I can keep a 777 out of serve for a week before hearing a peep from HQ. You have a 330 out of service longer then 12 hours, you'll have at unlimited stream of emails from HQ and multiple inquisitions on the conference calls asking why it's not back in service! My employer is absolutely in love with the 330 series.

It's a very versatile airframe that fits the company's perimeters for optimum revenue for the international market. The 777 is basically running cargo heavy routes.Interesting. Are the economics that much better or is it just well matched to the theater?

It's contagious after working so close to HQ. You pick up the buzz words quite quickly after listening to the big wigs give their presentations and all the conference calls! You've been PeachTree'd!
Got it Steve!
Actually, whether there was a merger or not, Anderson would have brought them in.And DL would have never known about it, had they not merged with Northwest.

If memory serves, Anderson was Northwest. If there was no merger, there would be no Anderson and no A330s.Actually, whether there was a merger or not, Anderson would have brought them in.
