Delta Eyes Major Widebody RFP For 747/767 Replacements

If memory serves, Anderson was Northwest. If there was no merger, there would be no Anderson and no A330s.
Anderson left NWA in 2004 and went to United Healthcare. If you believe the rumor that the merger was in the works before both companies went into bankruptcy…on the same day, then yes he was Northwest.

777 makes money for the company but it's mostly from cargo. The 330 makes way more revenue than any other aircraft in the fleet. Its pretty much a 50/50 spread. I can keep a 777 out of serve for a week before hearing a peep from HQ. You have a 330 out of service longer then 12 hours, you'll have at unlimited stream of emails from HQ and multiple inquisitions on the conference calls asking why it's not back in service!
I thought the 753 made the most coin in the fleet.
