One of the sexiest airplanes!!

On the subject of ag planes...

I have always prefered a little radial noise with my early morning flights :D

I had an Ag Cat just like the one pictured. Built up by the same outfit in ARG. I never got to work a geared 1340. And congratulations on the 1000 mark although the last fifty or so have been you helping me to get pictures on here. Thanks

A little late getting into this BUT:

Any bird with a Garret is a winner in my book. :p

Raise you a Tri Motor

Powered by a Wright Cyclone 1820 (715hp)

And once again... back at the big Bellanca :D

AN-2/AN-3 hands done the best all around prop airplane there is. Who cares if it only goes 100kts when it hauls that much.

Hold on, the Boeing 247

Another one to add to the pre war list of "bad ass" civilian prop airplanes.

Grosvenor House

The de Havilland DH88 Comet that won the MacRobertson Air Race in 1934. Race was from RAF Mendenhall in England to Melbourne, Australia.
Five mandantory stops...

Grosvenor House made it in 71 hours.

Finished 3rd behind Grosvenor House in the MacRobertson Air Race in 1934... :D
