She gave me my date too. She emailed me out of the blue asking for a form to be filled out (record of family relationships) that I hadn't done... this lead me to believe she or someone was looking at my file for the next step... a school date. And voila, 2 days after faxing that form she called! Now I'm still waiting for the FOL from Ms. Caves (her assistant).

Good deal. I've had interaction with Ms. Caves before when she sent me a amended TOL (physical address correction). By the time PubNat2 is over we'll have mapped out the entire FAA HR organizational flow chart.

Haha. Me too, they sent my TOL to the wrong Nathan W, somewhere in TX. Had I not been persistent in emailing I may never have found out.Good deal. Is anyone skipping Basics? Im a prior controller and wondering if I should keep my hopes up for a Feb/Mar date. So far it seems like the Enroute classes are booked. The only thing I have heard back so far is that I got my clearance on my background/credit. Nothing on medical or psych eval yet. I called and emailed my HR rep today, doubt I will hear anything with the holidays...

I'm skipping basics and I'm not heading out until June 1st. I think that you just add a month or so onto your wait and hop in with a class after they finish basics.

Yea, my HR rep is out of office those dates, and I have not been able to contact the Specialist. From my experience trying to concact anyone in the FAA, it's pretty close to impossible. It's hit or (mostly) miss if they reply to your email, and actually getting someone on the phone is a miracle. Usually your voice messages won't get returned, so the best bet is to keep calling and calling until you get a person to pick up the phone.
So as I see it, the earliest I will hear anything is after my HR rep gets back... :banghead:

At the risk of being the odd man out I have to disagree. Up until the point that I was assigned a new Rep I had no problems with Charlene. I sent her several Emails and she always responded promptly. Within a half hr most times. So, aside from the little HR Rep change snafu I am pretty pleased.

I talked to my HR rep yesterday and she gave me a tentative OKC date for 2/10, then 10 minutes later emailed me to change it to 2/25. Works perfect for me, however she said we are still waiting on my medical to come back. So we will wait some more I guess.

Just got a call this morning: OKC JANUARY 2!!!! They had one slot to fill...and now I have it! Holy crap...less than a week!!!! FOL coming in email in about 15 min.

FOL in hand!!! Luckily got a place to stay @ least thru Jan 20th...and now off to fill out all this paperwork that is spewing out of my printer....

I'm in-Feb 6 in OKC. Unbelievable. I thought this day would never come. I'm terminal by the way. HR says FOL is being emailed on the 26th. Hold on you guys, patience pays off. Merry Christmas.
