Gotta love TS and GS (mini hail) all at once - probably won't see that again anytime soon.
So, hail and thunderstorms don't go together?

It was more to the fact that they both are reported in the same metar. I don't ever recall seeing that before.
I can read a METAR, but I don't live on the airport. Snow depths varied quite a bit around the region.Yep - that is what SNINCR 1/11 states - snow increasing at the rate of 1"/hour with 11" on the ground
Crashpad in DTW. Starting a trip tomorrow which heads south. Home for the Super Bowl!
We're going skiing, wanna come?
Hmm, okay.
Fly in the midwest here in the spring and early summer. You'll be surprised how many times you see (-/+)TSRAGR(GS).

Dealing with thunderstorms in Jackson and Mobile the last two nights. Fun stuff. Even more fun was getting back tonight and spending an hour (and two scrapers) getting the 1 inch of ice off my car.
