I've been selected by Etihad for an assessment. My qualifications include 450 hours total time, CPL, twenty hours turbine and a regional jet transition course....

I also got the email today and the nearest place for me is NY for their assessment.
My qualifications are CPL ME&SE IR with 430TT (180ME).

Just got the email as well. I will be taking the assessment on the 19th. Anyone know what the first assessment consists of? I know it's a computer based test and I need to bring a calculator, but other than that I have no clue. I'll post more details about the test after I take it.

A friend of mine got selected for an assessment. He has 40 hours total time, had already completed 6 of the 14 ATPL exams (JAA), and has a civil engineering degree. He is also from a Middle East country.

Probably a simple comprehensive test. Basic Math, English lol etc.

Haha, me too man. Crazy isn't it? I was somewhat flabbergasted when I saw that I was short-listed. I'm currently in south Florida working on my CFI ratings, but I'm going to take the assessment on August 28th in Chicago no matter what.

I just wanted to get some information about Etihad's International Cadet Program.
On their website they mentioned that the initial stage is compromised of 6 written aptitude tests.
A friend of mine who said that he was short listed to take the initial assessment told me that its 1 hour.
Does any one know what the 6 subjects for the assessment tests are im sure that they will test your math, english, and physics skills do you know at what level (college or high school) also what are the remanning 3 subjects?
What would be the best way to prepare for this assessment?
if any one took anything like that if you can PM or just post some tips on how to be successful that would be great.

Hi Guys I am a First Officer with a 121 carrier here in the US. I applied to this program in April with a internal recommendation from a buddy of mine who is a captain with them. I have been invited to take the assessment and the nearest location for me is in NYC. I wanted to know can anybody give a gouge of what the computer assessment consists of and how I can prepare. Any feedback would be appreciated. Good luck to all
