Skywest Questions

Hey, I'll take a midnight call for a noon show over a "hey, we're giving you the worst standup in the system tonight." :P
You know unless the stand-up is for the next night (34 hours away vs 10) you can refuse right?

Getting "released into rest" for a stand-up is 100% voluntary. But they don't advertise that when they call you, obviously

It's only happened once, but it was like 2 days notice.

SM, the most junior award, is a 5/13 hire. We went from 4 years to 3 years in three months, but it's still not quite to 2.5 yet.
What the above poster said. If you look at the hire date of the one guy above him in seniority who was awarded captain in the last bid, the hire date is 12/2013.

Jumpseat question about what your FOM says. If you are operating on the DCI side obviously OO gets first priority. Is it then fcfs after that or is there a hierarchy like Oo...Mainline dl...other DCI...oal?

How does one verify that a Compass Pilot is flying for Delta on a Delta coded flight?
How does one verify that a GoJets pilot is working UA or DL flight, but still ahead of a SKW pilot on a UA flight? That's why it's time of check in. Fair for the majority. Was the same when I was at Eagle. Riding in back, even on AA metal, was all based on time of check in.
