Skywest Questions

You have successfully crushed any desire I had to go to law school, for what it's worth; I think I may pursue a master's degree in computer science or something closely related instead.

Congrats to all of those getting off reserve! I'm about finished up with training and will be moving to Colorado Springs in about two months. I'm looking for a little insight on the quality of life between Colorado Springs and Denver flying. If I'm understanding everything right COS is going to have almost every trip being an early show and late release. I know I can't know before I get there but is it better to drive an hour and a half to DEN for the variety in trips? I'm just trying to think ahead and see what may work best.

Thanks!

I'd say undeniably yes.

People seem happy in the springs, but I really liked the Denver pairings and crews. Good base.

Two day trips or less go incredibly senior I'm guessing? Split duty trips as well?
Split duties can be had if you don't mind Ontario, Cid,mli, all the high flying low rest ones.

2 days probably not likely.

?

SM, the most junior award, is a 5/13 hire. We went from 4 years to 3 years in three months, but it's still not quite to 2.5 yet.
He's a 5/13 hire but he wasn't hired as a pilot initially. Check the guy one award sr to him.

That's usually how it goes at a mx base. Fresno was the same.

COS base sees a lot more variety in trips than DEN. We do IAH, ORD, DEN, LAX, SFO, and SLC flying. DEN base is not quite as diverse.
