probably because the FDA has publicly announced they expect full certification in early September. Plus there’s the whole “5 weeks after certification or 5 weeks after sept 20, whichever is first” almost seeming like they don’t know when it will be completed.

You mean those vaccines that inspired confidence and helped start the return to normal. And saved the aviation industry (those federal employee payroll loans weren't going to last forever) and helped to rebound pax numbers to already better than 2019 numbers. Yeah, those vaccines.

I believe that either Memorial day or July 4th 2021 had better pax numbers than 2019 for those day(s). Either way the vaccines inspired a lot of confidence for people to want to travel again. And the aviation industry has rebounded much faster than anticipated.
