Medical, dental, vision, company paid life insurance, 401K with company match, employee assistance program and more!</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<br /><br />Interact with both Government and Commercial Marketing groups, System Planner, System Controllers, and Flight Dispatchers to provide flight plans, routings, and over flight for proposed trips. The Flight Planning Analyst will be responsible for analyzing historical data to assure production of a safe and cost effective schedule. Duties shall include but are not limited to the following:<br /><br />&bull; Review flight plan requests from Marketing and System Planning<br />&bull; Research airfield suitability such as runway length, width, pavement strength, special airports, fire and rescue capabilities<br />&bull; Review OPS program for performance at airport selected<br />&bull; Input estimate for winds, temperature, and altimeter settings into OPS program<br />&bull; Review Jeppesen JetPlanner program to run flight plan information based on performance numbers obtained from OPS computer<br />&bull; Identify which countries that cannot be over flown, and input into flight planning process<br />&bull; Utilize the FPR (Flight Plan Request) system to analyze safety of all potential flights to be operated<br />&bull; During the planning stages of the flight: review and discuss with Director of Operations, Director of Safety, Director of Operations Planning & Flight Dispatch, Fleet Managers, and Manager of Crew Scheduling items such as crew safety, crew flow/change, aircraft and airport security, Flight crew restrictions along with other operational items<br />&bull; Update OPS computers software for performance, weight, balance, and airport database<br />&bull; Monitor FMS aircraft database<br />&bull; Obtain permits required for each country that Omni is scheduled to overfly<br />&bull; Maintain validity of permit<br />o Change to schedule, aircraft, or routing could invalidate permits<br />&bull; Assist Planning by coordinating and scheduling all customer requirements in AIMS<br />&bull; Evaluate aircraft and schedule all customer requirements in AIMS<br /><br /><br />&bull; Relay information and coordinate via email, phone, Instant Message, or by updating aircraft information through Airline Information Management System (AIMS)<br />&bull; Implement required changes, coordinating and advising senior personnel as necessary<br />&bull; Analyze requirements having potential impact on flights and relays<br />o Disseminate information to operating departments, supporting agencies, marketing, department manager, senior leadership as appropriate<br />&bull; Work closely with Director Operations Planning & Flight Dispatch, Manager of Operations Planning, System Controllers, and Dispatchers during daily operations to include irregular operations<br />&bull; Obtain Dispatch input to plan minimal effects of long-term aircraft schedule<br />&bull; Conduct necessary coordination and contingency planning in response to: delays, changes, cancellations, or redirection from higher Company authority<br />&bull; Review and recommend most efficient options to optimize system resources in meeting customer requirements<br />&bull; Routinely discuss and address planning work methods, problems, and answer operational questions<br />&bull; Provide daily planning input at senior management briefings as required<br />&bull; Examine and recommend changes to improve quality and efficiency of daily operational plan and execution of daily schedule plan</p><p> </p></div><div><span>Requirements</span><p> </p><p>QUALIFICATIONS<br /><br />&bull; Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word<br />&bull; Must be able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays<br />&bull; Possess good organizational ability<br />&bull; Ability to multi-task, and think quickly and efficiently<br />&bull; Must be trusted with confidential information<br />&bull; Ability to work under extreme pressure, meet tight deadlines, while maintaining detail and accuracy<br />&bull; Possess good communication skills, both written and oral<br />&bull; Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE<br /><br />&bull; High school diploma or GED<br />&bull; Experience with Jeppesens JetPlanner and eLink preferred<br />&bull; FAA Dispatch license preferred, but not required<br />&bull; Pilot experience preferred, but not required<br /><br /><br />PHYSICAL ACTIVITY<br /><br />&bull; Stand &ndash; 5<br />&bull; Walk &ndash; 5<br />&bull; Sit &ndash; 90<br /><br />MENTAL CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS<br /><br />&bull; Must be willing to work in a time-sensitive environment and effectively handle stress associated with meeting deadlines, and managing unexpected change<br />&bull; Capable of interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form<br />&bull; Ability to communicate effectively so to be understood<br />&bull; Able to process information quickly<br />&bull; Possess attention to detail<br /><br />Omni conditions all job offers on the candidates documentation of complete COVID -19 vaccination prior to the employment start date.
