Southwest Opening Sept.

I'm seeing people that scored as low as the low 70's be offered a phone interview. Idk if they're still sending out invites at this point but that was something I found a little interesting. Because there are others I saw that scored higher than me that weren't / have yet to be offered the pone screening.

That's interesting. Do you know if the ones who scored in the low 70s that got invited are internal or external? In the past when there was a score threshold, internals had a lower minimum than externals. Also, invites will be sent out over several days, so yes, they're still sending out invites. Still hoping to receive an invite myself.

Anyone that I've talked to has been external only. I completed my phone screening earlier. Seemed pretty straight forward! Good luck to everyone!
Was yours done over teams or a phone. I got an invite with a teams meeting link and my buddy got one with just a phone number. Wondering if it’s the preference of the HR individual.

Nice! Congrats. Seems like its been a rolling thing with them scheduling interviews all week. Buddy of mine had his scheduled for next week, then I guess something happened and they had to cancel his original appointment and reschedule it.

Just did mine and they’re doing them through next Friday

Yes that sounds right. I had one scheduled for today and then had a family emergency. Had to reschedule so hoping for next Monday.

I know a couple recruiters. They have told me that interviews aren't entirely based on score. They like to see applicants try multiple times and truly have interest in southwest. They literally have a folder on you and see how you did last time, what phase you made it to and want to see growth.

I've heard that before as well.
