And speaking of finding the pot of Gold, the youngest Delta pilot interviewed at 23 and she's in class after turning 24.
She was also a Captain at her previous regional...And speaking of finding the pot of Gold, the youngest Delta pilot interviewed at 23 and she's in class after turning 24.
Well, I can't argue against that....Her being a regional CA was irrelevant because that's dime a dozen. It's a game and you gotta play the system. That was my only point. I think if you're at a regional today looking to get out, one of the best things you can do is get yourself on the hiring team and/or the team that goes to OBAP, WIA, NGPA, etc. That will open more doors than one would think.

BUT still impressive she was a Captain at 23.
I know. The real impressive feat is getting hired at Delta Air Lines at that age. Or heck, anything in your 20s. At the moment from a good friend of mine who looked up the numbers and retirement data, only ~49 pilots at Delta are in their 20s. 49 out of ~13,300ish.
Thanks! Decided to PM you but you beat me to it.I missed that somewhere, congrats Sir!

You guys do remember how old @PeanuckleCRJ was when he was hired at SJI right? There's one on these boards that can tell the tale of getting hired mid 20s at a legacy.
Nah Peanuckle had me beat by a mile. I was hired at 28 and 29 when I hit the line.
holy smokes. what have I been doing wrong in my lifeA 25 year old RJ Captain I know got hired today. One of the best pilots I've flown with.
