I literally have no idea.
AA does AA stuff and it's ultimately none of my concern.
That's an entirely different world which I literally have no exposure to or responsibility for other than asking for a jumpseat… wait, meal listing for a jumpseat, hopefully being able to not get hung up on during times of high call volume and THEN asking for a jumpseat! Unless, of course, the automation is out and they're having trouble finding DL and UA pilot in CASS.
I hope they got that fixed.
Y'all have a lot in common, such as the use of DOTMATRIX printers and flight plans, but even they have iPads
With you there, their jumpseat listing procedures suck.

Damn, Daniel! @Seggy back attit again with his KILLING SPREEEEEEEE…
You have bested me. The dot matrix comment was the coup de grâce
I'm sulking back to my corner now.

So, what were those UA flight attendants I saw on the hotel van the other day doing with dot matrix printed copies of their pairings?
As for flight plans, we do have laser printed flight plans. You just have to do it in a crew lounge and guys are too lazy to walk to one. Besides, we're supposed to be going to downloaded flight plans soon.
All I can say, my flight plan and everything else I need goes to my iPad.
Will that be on Windows '98?

Well good for you! I'm glad you get some personal fulfillment out of what kind of tools your company gives you to perform your job.
Kinda sad that you use that as a measuring benchmark. Not surprised though.
You love to tell all of us how your place is superior! Great! Other places are doing good things as well though!
KDA baby!
Yea for them!
Gotta get your own house in order first.
That is bizarre because as I've heard that some of the captains are doing that on their legs.
Amma have to go ahead and blame @Richman's people on this.
You know, PM stuff. I can't imagine someone's ego so large that they have to be "the voice" all the time. People don't want to hear my squeaky voice all the time anyway.
One of the best parts of being a CA is not being "that captain".

ATL maddog CAs pretty much always do all the PAs.
I got ya'll beat, flying RJs at 236 hours. Only 3 check rides before an airline: private, instrument, initial Commercial multi.

Hired into RJs with 1480 hours exactly 14 years after my first flight lesson.Hired into RJ's at 313 hours. Five years and four new licenses later, I still barely have enough total time to get hired at a regional.

What do I win?

That's a win?My upgrade sim partner had 180 something hours when he got hired into RJ's. I win nothing until I get to move back to DTW.
