kindof a long trip from California.. but i think it'd be friggin awesome to road trip it.

If anyone else on here ends up getting the same start date as myself and you live in CA, AZ, NV, NM... etc.. anywhere along the potential route let me know.. we could caravan it.

I've any of you are living where I am at the time, you can always bum a ride off me....I have a big tundra pickup so I can fit three dudes (one chick) J/K I am married. My only rule is: No vectoring will be attempted from any other seat but the drivers seat. :laff: Still trying to nail down where I'm going to stay...

I feel what you're saying - I read this somewhere can't remember if it was here or on SM.....someone said if the academy bus is running late you're not in trouble.... but if you're late in your personal veh - even if you pull in before the shuttle - you're still late. I don't know how they would know these things unless they have roll call on the shuttle:laff:
 
Hello all!! Ive been kinda keepin up on the forum, but decided I should actually post something, I applied to pubnat 5/6, testing and all clearances... fully cleared and they said that they are getting my class date and as soon as they knew they would call me.....sounds about right :-P lol.... anyways im in MO and my tol is for ZKC, I think Isola is going to be my home when i arrive

You and N9088d could be roomates....he's going to ZKC as well. I bet you guys get a class date before I do....it seems they're filling those center positions before they move on to terminal. I can't wait to get to D10. Welcome to JC

Nice to hear from a fellow ZKCer. Maybe you already know this, but I read on another forum that ZKC just lost (or is about to lose) 15 controllers to retirement. Hopefully that spells a class date in the near future for us.

That's what I thought too. But I've noticed the most recent issuances of class dates have gone to terminal people (on SM), so who knows. I just hope we all get there sometime before Christmas.

I shared similar symptoms a couple weeks ago. Arms spread wide on the starboard bow...

That's not a good thing, that just means there are less FPLs to train the new guys. That's actually a bad thing...

Nah, it's a good thing.

Also, for those of you who haven't heard through the parallel universe (SM), C.S. is transferring departments. A bunch of us are going to be getting different HR reps.
 
I'm baaaaaack!!!

Good news, my Doc says my BP is good, just gotta go back one more time then I can send the paper work back. What a hassle. I've been staying off here so I wouldn't stress out. Any center ppl get class dates? I scanned the last week and a half worth of posts and didn't see anything.
 
So, I thought enroute people were supposedly going to be notified of class dates before most terminal people. So far it's been almost all terminal... Between here and SM I've seen maybe 1-2 enroute people and 5-10 terminal people get class dates.
 
Once you've abandoned all hope that an FOL and Class date are coming.......is the day it actually comes. I believe we have hit that point. We are all now........Beverly Hills Ninjas.

I first applied pubnat2.

thats roughly 6 to 8 more months than you 5/6 folks.
 
I was waiting for my FOL when your grandfather was still in diapers...

Haha! I've been waiting since PubNat 1. That's 19 months...bleck! Oh well, at least it'll be worth it.
 
I finally got an e-mail response from my rep R.A. that all my clearances are in. This, 3 weeks after I originally e-mailed him. My rep didn't say anything in the e-mail, just that he had numbers for the fiscal year and was now able to start filling slots in facilities that need them. So, I'm not looking for a FedEx truck anytime soon. Anyway, I went to the Chicago PEPC and I figure my facility is not going to need someone for awhile, from what I've been reading on here. Just my info.
