I never thought we would get to the day where peeople from the pubnat 5/6 group were going to academy. tee tee thanks for the well wishes - I'm still employed for now - dodged a bullet

UTAMAV - Do you mean that the schedules are being revised and there will be classes starting in late September? I read a rumor (I think it was on SM) that the next terminal basics course isn't until late November. Anyone confirm or deny?

<----terminal, and I just got a class date for 9/24. I don't know how many other people will be going on the 24th, but it's looking up!

Absolutely. It's 100% B-movie, which is really the same level Pushing Tin is at, except Ground Control is up front about it. It actually has a pretty good list of actors, although most are past their prime (the guy from Growing Pains, maybe The Fonz, although he was more brilliant in Arrested Development than he ever was in Happy Days). A pre-24 Keifer Sutherland is the main star, so you can't go wrong there.

The plot is ridiculous at times, also not unlike Pushing Tin, except something about Ground Control makes it... fun. Really, how can you make a good movie about air traffic control? I don't think it's possible.

If we're in the Academy together -- odds seem good -- we'll definitely be having a Ground Control night. Everyone's invited, whenever that may be.

Im in for sure....I will shower all of you with my Tobias Funke sense of humor as we bask in the wake of the movie. You know going to OKC is going to be like a one night stand....we all make friends with each other, only to dump each other after two months and move to another city. It's a bittersweet moment I guess.
