As far as new bases, rumor mill keeps saying ORD but I've also heard LGA thrown around quite a bit so who knows.
So what can we expect from PSA in 2015? To start, the process of transferring the CR7’s is set to commence at the end of the second quarter. Accompanied by further network expansion, like moving into ORD, and important changes to our PSS in the fall, one thing is certain: 2014 has successfully set PSA on a path of growth and expansion that is set to continue throughout the upcoming year.
Yup... I think ORD was an obvious one. Still more rumors of another base though, so we'll see. Hoping to hear something about more airframes in the new year.Looks like PSA just announced they will be opening an ORD base.

I'm missing something. What's CAK? Canton-Akron airport does not make sense to me here.
PSA had a base there for years and still has an MX hanger. For many years, because of the overnight MX work being done, there were many aircraft terminating there and many crews stuck in a very low end (lack of) Quality Inn every night. The base was closed in 2004 (maybe?) the same day PIT was closed as a base for PSA. For years guys would constantly ask the President of the Company if CAK (or PIT) would reopen because between the two there was a pretty large group of commuters that either drove 3 to 5 hours to Dayton or flew down to CLT to start trips. Keith (the CEO) always said no and we always suspected that even if it ever did make sense to reopen the base (like when we were overnighting more than 10% of the fleet there), he'd never do it because he'd have had to admit he might have been wrong in closing the base to begin with.
I wish an airline would open up a a JAX domicile. Hasn't been one here since PDT pulled out.I figure we'll see new crew bases open up where the MX bases are/will go. I doubt we'll see an ORD crew base because there's not a lot of cheap hangar space available, but like I said I've been wrong before.

You know it's actually possible. The guy who would never repoen CAK because he would have had to admit he was wrong when he closed it is retired now.
That said, I doubt it.
I feel bad for any crew that had to overnight in that crap hole lol. Fortunately there is a lot nicer hotel to use now like a stones throw from the airport. There has always been some nicer options of hotels a short 5 min drive from the airport, but true to regional form, you can't be too nice to regional crews it seems lol
