All I've heard is that the new class this week started on the 7/9. As to if they are going to keep with that, or alternate i don't know. I've heard it said both ways at the school house. They did/do get shiny IPAD's for training tho. (not sure if they already got them during indoc or if that's a systems thing in place of the god awful CBT's.

Silly Canadians.

Regrettably the CRJ does not have a nuclear reactor on board (although it probably would if flown by the Widgets over at the Soviet Navy) so we never get to hear that pronunciation.

That's a great trick if the captain is a willing participant. Many captains at my airline don't wanna talk to you unless they come find you. It's sad.

Latest CA award had a November, 2014 hire. If you have your 1,000 hours of 121 and have been on the fence about coming here, I'd say you better get on it!

And also, guys with the required time are getting off of IOE and going straight to CA upgrade class. They are being exempted from the 100 hours of consolidation required of most FOs.

Yup....last upgrade award just went to new hires in the Nov 10 2014 class.......they just finished (or some may still be finishing) FO IOE.

Pretty much at street captains now and with 3 airplanes coming every month for the next two years its going to be like this for a while.
