Neat Old Video of Behind the Scenes at an Airline

Check out this old video from 1965:

It's actually pretty neat. They show inside the "dispatch office". They even show the use of AIRINC. I had no idea that they used that way back then! It's corny, but neat to see how things were back then and how much things have progressed.

Back then?? Some airlines still use ARINC (or other radio providers) for that today. It's considered a back up most the time but I've used an ARINC phone patch at least once in the last 5 years. Me previous career it was primary communication means.

I used one at Ryan not that long ago... And it is a means of back up there. CORRECTION: was...
