I've got this friend back in Rochester named George who I am sort of "mentoring." (I know, blind leading the blind - scary!) He's a low-time CFII trying to figure out what to do with his budding aviation career.
I've been trying to get him on JC forever, and he finally registered. I think he's just waiting on Doug to activate his account so he can post a new member announcement. I think his user name will be Geeorge.
I told him about NJC, and let him know it would be in his best interest to go. He wants to go, but unfortunately he can't afford plane tickets and a hotel room.
So in advance of his first post, I'll ask for him:
1) If anyone can spare a buddy pass for him, he'd greatly appreciate it.
2) If anyone can spare a hotel floor - that would be a tremendous help, too.
He's a great guy and I personally vouch for him. His career really needs a jumpstart, and that's what JC is all about.
And as soon as he gets on here - he knows to register and pay for the event.
