Got "Laid Off" Yesterday

Well I got laid off from my job working the line yesterday. I'm really kind of bummed because there was a lot of potential for me to make connections. My employer stated that recent economic downturn and lack of aircraft sales was a contributing factor. What really makes me angry is that almost all of what I made went back to the place for flying. After investing $7,000 in the place over the last 9 months, they drop me like a rock. Oh well, back to being broke.

I know how you feel, I also got "laid off" after about 10 months. I put pretty much all of my earnings into flying and really enjoyed it. Look at it this way, a lot of people are getting laid off these days...when things start to pick up again, you should be at the top of the list when they start hiring again.
