Or, hopefully they're back to flying mainline metal over at AirTran for substantially more than what they would if they were "recalled" to RAH.
I just have a BAAAD feeling about that whole thing. If all the RAH guys are recalled, and THEN the Midwest guys are recalled without having the seniority list issues fixed, I could totally see RAH management offering them right seat in a 175 or a 50 seater, take it or leave it.
Add me to the list of furloughs. Should get the official notice next monday when our realignment bid closes. Time to go fill out the unemployment papers.
That's pretty funny right there considering who you're talking too.You just don't like me because I've been in the gang that has called you out on shenanigans elsewhere.
I really don't think you are in any position right now to help me get a job anyhow that I would be interested if my information is correct.
It is really amusing when some individual, impotent to do anything anyways, threatens another when it comes to the job search.
You stay classy, :rotfl:
By the way, who is "butt" is that some inside joke I should be in on to appreciate your constructive and helpful post? Or maybe you meant to use a word that is prohibited. I have no clue, nappy time.
Tomorrow is another day of killing Hajis on MW2.
Sorry to hear that.
Name of company and how many are being furloughed?
Mesaba. I think theres about 150 on furlough right now. Probably another 150 behind me.
Gotcha, sorry man.
Buddy of mine who was furloughed from PSA last winter, managed to get hired by Mesaba early this year, is also back to the street. Initials are CL.
Keep your head up, #1 job right now is to find work. Jobs are out there though, might not be flying, but there are good paying jobs for professionals to be had.
Yea I knew a few guys from PSA. A lot from TSA too. Sucks. I mean this is my first furlough so I can't complain too much. But some of these guys, this is their 2nd sometimes 3rd furlough in the past few years. Those are the guys we should be thinking about. Crazy industry we got into huh.
I'll be behind you in a bit.
Praying Delta has some mercy on us.
Ok guys, I am trying but I lost track, how many pilots total is on the streets? Did anyone read last month AOPA flight training mag, they were talking about success stories, about a CO FO, and his flight experience, at the end of the article he was or is furloughed going to work with his dad. It is sad that our success stories are based on experience before furloughs.
Just about every airline has people on furlough. And those that are recalled are being replaced by others furloughing so I suspect the overall number is still about the same. Mesa is one that is adding to the list monthly, they were saying 500 or more on furlough by spring.
