Furlough tracking

5 PFE's furloughed from Atlas.

Down to 3 classics. No further announced pilot reductions.

Fleet count: 13 -400s and 4 Classics

47 pilots remain furloughed.

9 more PFEs furloughed on Oct. 15 due to an additional classic going to the boneyard.

Looks like additional flying through peak. Perhaps refuloughs (hopefully not) to follow.

Atlas has recalled 7 more pilots - down to 40 furloughed from 62

4 more FEs have been recalled as well.

Recalls were cited as necessary by an increase of flying for customers.


There may be a peak after all......

I'm still in the pool, I guess. :crazy: How times change...

Man, Comair has been taking a beating. That's really sad to hear. I remember going to CVG a few weeks ago. Seeing all those planes parked out there was a definite bummer.
 
Update on Comair: 11/19/09

-More recall letters sent out than first planned. All 20 November furloughs received recall letters, in addition 23 voluntary furloughs received letters. 43 Total Recall Letters Sent.
-Voluntary Furloughs have bypass rights for 12 months.
-Company will accept all who take it.
-Class in December & January.

Mesa - 58 more furloughs effective Dec 7. Total up to 233. 25 were from the ERJ, 18 were from the CRJ, and 15 were from the Dash. Merry Christmas!
 
My Christmas present to all those furloughed is a bit of advice.

Don't go work for a dirtbag operator, because they earned that reputation for a reason.
