Yeah.. a few years back I logged a lesson of dual with Bruce Dickinson up in Santa Monica. He was filling in for my CFI and it was only like my 4th or 5th hour. I was a hugh fan of the band growing up and needless to say was pretty thrilled at getting a chance to fly with him. It made for a great story for my friends back home. He ended up being a really nice guy and a great pilot too.
Here's a bit of "Hey, I didn't know that!" is that Ken McKay, the original author of the "Military" section of this website was a DJ who would fill-in for Kasey Kasem's Top-40 when Kasey was on vacation or unavailable for the show.
