Any rumors of PUBNAT 8?

Good to know! The last Pubnat (Pubnat 7) was broken into two panels. One in October, and another in March from what I gather. I'm not positive, but I don't think they did this for any other Pubnat prior to 7. I have heard rumors that they would be doing the same regarding splitting the panels for Pubnat 8 as they did for 7. Your info, while still a rumor (in my book) no offense to you, further backs what I have heard up.

Just out of curiousity did anybody select RI and get on the referral list. If not RI did anybody select CT and get on the referral???

Messages on ASAP update if you are NOT selected for an interview. If you are selected for an interview, you will receive an email...the timeframe can be anywhere from 1-6 weeks after Panels meet. Also, not all emails went out at once last time. They went out in waves...
 
My ASAP page didn't change as of today, it still says:

Referral list FA-AAC-11-36152: Issued on 10/06/2010 for the Throughout The Nation duty location at the FG-1 grade/payband.
  • Your application is among those being reviewed by the office with announcement # AAC-AMH-09-PUBNAT8-12162. You may or may not be contacted for an interview. Please continue to check back for status updates.
Does this mean I might get an email for an interview???
 
Mine hasn't changed either, but I also haven't gotten an email. If I'm understanding this all correctly, we have a few weeks now before we might see something from this panel. Or we might have to wait until the next panel (March-ish?) if our application wasn't reviewed in this batch... Is that right?
 
Yeah, at least based off of past practices you should not hear anything period, for around 2 weeks after the panel meets. That is, your ASAP will not change to let you know that you weren't selected. If you were selected, your ASAP won't change to "not selected" when everyone else does (i.e. a few weeks from now). I'm sure the threads will be blowing up when changes on ASAP happen for Pubnat 8, so I wouldn't be too worried about missing something.

If your ASAP does not change you can expect an email for an interview invite somewhere between 2-6 weeks after the panel has met (in this case from today).

I hope this helped an was not to confusing, I only had a minute to jot something down. Oh yeah and as for March panels...who knows. If they do happen though, your ASAP likely won't change to "not selected" until after those panels have met. But on this I'm not too sure.

I think that was the total number who made it to panels. Although that number seems a little high for just OTS, so maybe it was totals i.e. CTI,VRA,CTO,etc..

If so that means 1% of those who were selected were OTS. Not great odds if you ask me, but at least some OTS people were picked up.

Can't really say sir, but I understand your skepticism. I only commented b/c I wanted the rest of the OTS candidates to know there were some OTS actually picked from this panel.
