NAI is Approved

Ah...so this is why @Seggy was looking for your phone number the other day. He must've wanted to start a text battle too. So @The Juice did your phone recently blow up with random texts from the Wookiee?

I wish I could have come instead of dealing with my kid's medical appointment that day.

Unfortunately I don't think there is any stopping NAI. And this is only the beginning. The forces of globalization are extremely strong and the next thing that will be chipped away at will be cabotage. I hope not but I don't think the future is bright for U.S. airlines.

If you're right (about this being only the beginning), and U.S. airlines continue on with business as usual, then I think you're right about the future being none to bright. However, if the U.S. airline industry learns the lessons of history, then there's no reason the U.S. airline industry can't have a bright future. As the saying goes, "When paradigms shift, everything resets to zero."

Next chapter just starting. Norwegian announced that from June 2017 they will fly from longhaul from Barcelona to EWR, LAX, OAK and FLL.

There also hiring American crewmembers. I know a girl going through the fa interview process and APC says they're recruiting American pilots as well.

American pilots hired by an Singapore based contractor, flying for an Irish airline out of Spain. Nice ;)

They'll hire some US employees so they gain sympathy with elected officials and the public. "We have cheap fares and If you don't let us fly think of all the jobs lost".
