AND...

If you have a gazillion (or just a few if you don't foresee yourself getting sick ever) user time hours, if you have a block of 3 days off or more, you can add user time credit on those days off. This adds to your monthly credit, which equals more money AND more user/vacation time accrual.
Yes.

When you quit the place, dump all your time onto your schedule. Goes to 401(k) match on separation pay.

AND if you're really good. Wait until you upgrade to use any user time or vacation as your hours are worth more then as your pay scale goes up.

If only. I have a strict "no more than x hours of user time" at a time. Let's just say I'll never be selected for check airman. ;)

I've found no use for my vacation time yet. Just over 40 hours of it now. Might use some next year. I just bid for days off as I need them. Unfortunately I keep burning usertime because the very limited days I've ever been sick happened to be on some of the highest paying 3 days ever... :(

Low block does not mean lots of time off.

Example, I fly one leg tonight, credit 4:12, block 1:00
105 credit for August with 20:23 block. Of course, if they schedule IOE anytime soon the block will change. 26 days off. Enjoying it while it lasts because I know it won't last long after the fed ride!

You can ask them to take from your vacation time when you call in sick or emergency. It makes me smile sometimes when I see EMV on sked+ (emergency vacation) because that's exactly what it is

Nah but it shows how much time you are actually behind the controls. Which equals very little.

Also, Delta benefits are domicile only. LAX,SFO,SEA. Awsome....

How much I'm at the controls means nothing as far as time off. If I'm not at home I'm not at home.

For AQC and how confident you are in it does though. I understand you aren't at home, but sitting in the crew lounge for 2 hours doesn't make you for comfortable in the plane.
