The cross you bear. How we all feel your pain.I hate it because flight attendants are always squinting at your ID badge to see if it says express on it or not. It's annoying

Shut your trap you mainline captainThe cross you bear. How we all feel your pain.
Congratulations to you for finally making the jump to mainline. You should give @Seggy some pointers when he goes to class in a few months.Shut your trap you mainline captain
Never thought I would see you wish to be in the Yankee north. He wasn't at express like I was. 73 is already at mainline.
Now I gotta get the heck out of CLT and back to PHL
I thought that uniform looked bad. Never saw it in person. It looks dated to me.As much as I rag on the DL "pompous" pilot group mentality I 100% agree with their corporate culture and mentality.
They're striving for a premium product and in turn pay their employees a premium wage. They in turn get the best talent out there.
If you want to look like crap, not wear a hat, throw on a clip on tie and wear shoes that are 5 years old having gone without a single shoe shine go for it, but you're going to work at a place like Allegiant or Spirit and as such your wages will reflect that.
Guys who piss and moan about having to button up a coat are completely missing the point of what the premium carriers are doing. If you want premium wages you're going to have to put effort into the job and looking sharp is part of that.
I totally was behind what AA was going for as far as the uniform goes, unfortunately we have too many guys who just don't care, and the company realized that. This is why Delta will continue to kick everyone's ass.
Get those hourly rates up @Derg. We are tired of doing the heavy lifting![]()
Work rules and profit sharing, sweetie.![]()
For $18 less every hour. I hope you guys do well. Helps everyone. Give us time to catch up.
Contract Opener delivered to company last week. Bets on how long to a new PWA?
Thanks, but no. I'm a loyal Delta customer, but no desire to go back to flying for a living.![]()
If Southernjets took an $18/hr raise and no PS it'll be a significant cut in compensation.
