Brad mentioned how crappy endeavor is in the conference call tonight. Is that a good enough segue?

So how did the call go yesterday?

Did they bring up how the nonunion folks at Skywest play into this?

I had a couple of questions but had to get off the call before I could get them in. They kept talking about the better position the company would be in to get new contracts if we vote this in. My first question was to find out how the Board would play into that bidding process? Does this mean that even if the TA is agreed upon, at the end when it comes to getting new contracts, we will hear the same song and dance?

Brad mentioned that the pilot agreement needs to be in place before the FA and Mechanic agreement could be done. I couldn't understand that and my second question would've been to find out why that needs to be?

In his initial statement, Brad mentioned that he wants to make this place better for everyone to work and how we are not in a good position because of a certain few other regionals. Third question was to address the life of a reserve. Case in point is the final schedule of a reserve and how the days off cannot be moved after the final, why is it that even though our TA is still industry leading it still lacks simple QOL adjustments such as this?

If anyone happens to be at one of the upcoming meetings, would you mind asking them this if it wasn't already addressed earlier?

Nah.

No point. Same garbage as earlier full of excuses and fear.

Have to enjoy the lack of honesty and their desire to remain vague about anything they say they know.

Talked to someone today who went to a roadshow and is now looking at this deal differently than you are (at this point). Why do you think they may be singing a different tune and you are looking at it the same as a few weeks ago? Or has your view changed?

Speaking in generalities and asking a question that requires specifics. Not really a smart way to develop a discourse.

My tune has been the same, all along, that this agreement contains far too many concessions. My opinion on this TA remain unchanged after the roadshow(s).

Are you saying that everyone must come away from a roadshow with a different opinion on the agreement?

Humans are free to express their own opinions on matters that affect them. Not all humans will agree. Considering that you are not the direct source of the statements you are carrying for someone, and the generalities that you have attempted to lay out, I really can not shed any more light.

I don't think the mediation is going to help much due to the concessions that Endeavor took, as well as some of the other truly awesome contracts out there. It's a poop sandwich.

I'm not saying you should vote yes, but I don't think things are going to improve.

I really wish I could boot them off the airplane every time they were on it. SO FREAKING MAD AT THEM!

I am just saying, other folks have had their views changed after thinking about it and not getting wrapped around the interweb axle.

Fair enough.

Absolutely not.

All I am saying, is others are seeing things differently than they did a few months ago. It is interesting.

It ain't gonna get any better than this TA. Thanks to PSA and Pinnacle it's this TA or watch Skywest fly MRJ's and E-175's all up in da east coast.

Secondly, @mshunter booting anyone off the airplane accomplishes nothing. If you talked to them about it, instead of just make statements like this, you may be educated on the differences the pilots at Endeavor were under.

Thirdly, let me educate you then as you don't want to engage the Endeavor Pilots. BTW, this has been covered numerous times in this thread. Endeavor, at the time they voted in their contract, were in Bankruptcy Protection. There is something called the 1113C process that allows the Bankruptcy Court to reject Collective Bargaining Agreements if in Bankruptcy. So if the Endeavor Pilots DIDN'T vote this contract in, the contract would have been rejected and a new one would have been put in place WORSE than they have now. Don't believe me, ask @BobDDuck, who has also covered this point in this thread. Another BTW, the 1113C process was conceived by Ronald Overrated Reagan. So, if you really want to be mad at someone, you can start there. Even @L-16B has come around to put his anger there.

Welcome to the airlines, jr. I've been waiting 6 years plus to upgrade. Jumpseat wars are great in theory (NOT!) but terrible if executed.

You weren't even part of the 121 world when we negotiated our industry LEADING JCBA. I don't even think you were in 121 when the crap sandwich was issued.

Might want to worry about probation... That's the goal for you first year guys.

It's concessionary but it's better than every regional out there. So it's not really concessionary. You feel me dawg?

Every time I hear ERJ guys rant about the current contract being concessionary all I can think of is "back in '85 I could throw a pig skin a quarter mile."

They are bound and determined to bitch and moan and drag this "arranged marriage" of a company into nonexistence... We get it. You had it nice.
