When will the noise finally end?

Sitting in a hotel room in Xi'an wondering when the fireworks and firecrackers will finally end. It's 1 a.m. and still going strong!
This is Lantern Festival Day, or at least yesterday was. Should be the end of the fireworks for this Chinese New Year's period - once they finally use them all up.

My father lives in China (for business)..Wukang. I visited him last year when the Chinese New Year was going strong (crazy China Eastern pilots!)....360 degrees of fireworks for 2 straight weeks 24 hours a day....I would wake up at 3 in the morning thinking the Japs were coming, it would not stop! I'm sorry you have to go through this! It was the year of the Rat.. AHHA

Except for an isolated fire cracker now and then, it looks like the noisy celebration is over for another year. Most of the noise ended by 0300 last night. Almost overslept for the first time in years!
