$100/hr for an SP is a darn good price. We have a guy on the field here (Actually a big cheese at my company) with a 2003 SP, all the bells and whistles, HSI, G530, KAP140 A/P, leather, etc..... He was going to lease it back but would only do it for $130/hr. Too much.

+ a $15/hour fuel surcharge im sure...

Nope. Those are 10 hour block rates though. Add $8/hr to each price. I listed them that way because I can't believe anyone in their right mind would rent steady without taking advatage of that kind of rate drop.

These are not new planes. I believe that helps make them cheaper. Plus fuel is always cheapest here ($3.99 right now).

The 172 is a '78 with new paint and motor last year. It has 15k on the airframe though and only a KLN90A for GPS.

The 152 is an '80 something with brand new paint and motor this month but 5k on the frame and only a KLN90B for GPS.

The Arrow is a '68 with brand new paint and motor this year, GNS480, and 396 w/XM weather. It has 3k on the frame. At $100/hr, this is the best deal by far. I put 60 hours in it.

Now you see why I decided to stay at this FBO versus head to ATP? :)
