Damn, I got $106 one way and thought I had won the lottery! I'll take my chances on the way home.
I know that if I was in regional airline management, I'd have my people there taking pictures and getting names of attendees and comparing them against my sick call list for that day.
No need to respond to him anymore. He is goneYou sound perfect for a regional airline management team.

He won't be answering.
My wife's first job out of college was doing the marketing and student enrollment at Tab Express...Now if it were only as easy to block the ATAs/TAB Express/CAPT/JetUs that are basically doing the same thing charging people for a "chance" to meet with a recruiter......
Those who don't follow the rules get fired.
There are rules? I thought we just showed up, flew a good airplane, treated the passengers as we'd want to be treated, and avoided hitting anything.Ahhhh, not always. I try to behave sometimes, but it's just not in my nature.

Not waving your junk in the face of the flying public is part of the "treating passengers as I'd like to be treated" thing.Pants...
Those are in the rules. :-(

No one knows unless you tell themahhh to be at mainline...flying commando has to be in the top 5....aspirations of the regional pilot.
*disclaimer - I do not condone or partake in such behavior![]()
They used her to try and sell me a $50k King Air transition course after I was already instructing as a CFI/I/MEI. All those guys knew what they were doing. I'm sure there are the same stories in other industries fed by dreams.I wrote to get the info on Tab Express. I ran the other direction when I saw the guy who's signature was printed at the bottom of the form letter was the same guy I talked to when I checked out Airline Training Academy before they locked the doors and ran with everyone's money. This is the same guy that told me there was a pilot shortage about 5 times in 15 minutes when their partner airline (ASA) was in the middle of furloughs. I'm sure there were people that worked for those places that were either not in on the game or in the wrong place at the wrong time, so I certainly don't blame them for having a job. But some of those guys (like the guy I'm talking about) likely knew exactly what they were doing and saying.
