First day, wear a white dress shirt, black pants and black tie. If they don't take your picture on day one, wear the same thing on day 2. Once your picture is taken, then wear business casual from then on.

Probably the difference between the M&H stuff (which is issued) and the Crew Outfitters stuff (which you can buy). M&H is what they hand out in class. I much prefer Crew Outfitters kit. Your allotment can go to either - once you qualify for your allotment, anyway.
I bought another set of first officer epaulettes after about 4 years (mine were sun-bleached and dirty as hell by that point) from CO, and the stripes were more tightly packed than the M&H boards I had.
There's one day of aircraft ground school (colloquially, systems) in which you wear the jet jammies, for picture day. Otherwise, as @Zondaracer described. Business casual. No jeans, at least, no jeans the last time I was there.

LOLOL.. too funny. Any difference from M and H or crew outfitters on the shirts? I have heard that one or the other is rough on the neck, but I can't remember which.

I buy mine from A Cut Above. They're not an official supplier, but very worth it. I also buy my pants from Macy's. The only stuff I buy from our suppliers is luggage, belts, ties, etc.

Do you know which of the cut above shirts you get? They have several different options. That and the price have discouraged me from ordering different ones to "experiment" with which shirt I liked the best.

The Fitted Tropo is the one to get for you (since you're not overweight) . They also have a store in Broomfield if you want to see them before buying.

My class got our issues uniforms from Crew Oufitters. Their shirts were a bit scratchy and uncomfortable to me. I quickly ditched them and went back to my Cut Above Shirts. Aside from being more comfortable the tall sizes from A Cut Above fit me much better.
They have a rather lax return/exchange policy. I think it was 30 days if removed from packaging/washed, 60 if not
Crew outfitters shirts are about the size of a circus tent on me. If you're a skinny lad, the fitted tropo or cirrus are great (just different fabric blends)

I actually REALLY LIKE the M&H pants... almost as much as I REALLY HATE the M&H shirts. (The M&H blazer is decent, but the fitting, for me, wasn't that great—I'm a ~38R, at most a 40R, and I got a 42R blazer. I guess I'm just smol.)
But after a year, I still LOVE the M&H pants... dramatically prefer them, in fact, to the "Cut Above" trous that I have.

Nope!!! You will get an umbrella shirt! Mine was so bad I didn't even bother to try and have it tailored. I guess being tall and fit with an 18" neck means that I should be 250lbs with a gut

Get your shirts from ACutAbove. They aren't an official supplier but nobody will care. In fact, you may even get comments from other pilots about how nice your shirt looks. The guy who started and currently owns ACutAbove was a SkyWest pilot. (I heard that ACutAbove isn't an official supplier for Skywest yet due to a possible conflict of interest since he was a former Skywest employee).
