Skywest Questions

The only thing I didn't like about commuting to DTW was the terminal transfer from the Delta one to the north terminal. It's a long walk and a long circuitous van ride. What a screwy way to design the airport road system. Plan on 30-45 minutes for that one.

Not sure how true this is but..
I heard there was to be an underground connector to bridge the terminals but NWA was opposed to it due to the fear of INTL pax connecting to other airlines for cheaper fares.

Congrats! So awesome to see this movement. I was expecting 7+ years when I was hired, and just missed this last one by three spots. Hired 8/13. Next month hopefully!

9/13 here. About 40 away. We will see how the DTW bid goes in 1.5 weeks. MAYBE the one after that for me. Either way, quicker than I expected.

If I only had the brains to leave Eagle at the same time @Autothrust Blue did.

Sorry you didn't get it dude, but enjoy having a killer schedule for a little longer!

Oh I will! 90 hours, 19 days off. I'm ok with that. I'll be commuting to MSP or DTW soon enough...

Like I said, things are moving WAAAAY quicker than I ever expected. I got a nervous butterfly realizing how close it is now. Before it was like "190+ away, plenty of time." Now I don't think I'll make it to recurrent in September.

Are you staying in base? Or did you transfer out?

Sucks for so many who returned to a dead end shop with no movement.

Oops...

At least my gambling skills elsewhere in life are not as bad as the "Which regional to stay at..." game.
