Skywest Questions

The only thing I didn't like about commuting to DTW was the terminal transfer from the Delta one to the north terminal. It's a long walk and a long circuitous van ride. What a screwy way to design the airport road system. Plan on 30-45 minutes for that one.

As far as logbooks. My examiner didn't even look at mine. But I'd bring it if asked, but I'm willing to bet they won't look at it until later in sim training.

The airport is 100% not set up for inter-airline connections.

How tough is the ATP checkride? Or does Skywest set you up pretty well with making sure you're ready to go. Just curious...have nothing to compare it to since it's a whole different world...

Too much sim time, the checkride is a non event. SKW might be cheap on things, training is defiantly not one of 'em.

This is me this time of the month.

Good luck fellas! I hope this is the month for you.
Me too! I don't want to have to worry about flying with you anymore! Just kidding. Wish you could've stayed on that trip. You're a great CA. The guy that took your place...huge feminine hygiene product.

Ha! Thanks dude, I had fun too.

I refused to stay at the "not-so-quality inn" after one stay. BW on Mannheim, or whatever it was...$53. Free breakfast, close to the airport, and BW does rewards every 3 months for $50 off a room or a free room. They alternated the promos. So I would get rooms for free or for $3 numerous times.
With taxes, I paid $29 per night at the Quality back in 2007 when they had some sort of winter special. I always thought the bar there was decent.
