Skywest Questions

What's reserve?

I hear it's this really cool thing where your company showers you with gratitude & presents. Occasionally you'll get a flight assignment for one easy leg beginning around 1pm and you'll be poolside by 4pm with a nice cocktail the company paid for. Followed by a lovely complimentary dinner and a pleasant wake up call around 9am for just one more leg back home. Deadhead, first class of course.

Yeah I think that's it.

Sounds amazing. Wish we had it.

A whole two months of reserve heh? Sorry, gotta poke fun.

Hey, someone's got to pickup the slack from the ERJ guys. We can't all just get paid to sit around!

Actually, I'm back on reserve for at least a few more months now. I pulled the short-straw and was junior-manned into ASE. So don't go hating my impeccable timing just yet!

Anyone going to be in the August ERJ transition class? I know there's a few of us bypasses around here...

I got DEN two months out of training. I was reserve there for another two months, but, hey, no more commuting.

Lmfao. Maybe. Just want to be sure I can find something before I bid it

As I am currently sitting on my tuckus in Bloomington, awaiting IOE, you may have your priorities slightly off—as it turns out, I probably didn't need to move out here so quickly, but I wouldn't be surprised if OE shows up within a week or two.

Actually, I kinda hope it does - I want to try out this "Captain" thing.

True. I guess I just want to make sure a crashpads indtw is doable without having to get a second car

I'm bidding regardless

There are quite a few hotel crashpads in DTW. So you'll have a shuttle. I know of another with a car available if you pay an extra $30 a month.
