Re: Skywest\' newest First Officer!

It shows how loyal you are. The wrong person might remember that and make sure your next interview goes poorly.
-You already have a job! And a job that's hard to get for that matter. Why risk POSSIBLY having a job when you DO now? It does not make sense to me. Congrats, you've screwed yourself twice.

I wasn't suggesting for you to quit Mesa all together, but before turning SKW down, I would do everything in my power to try to go to that interview. We all know here it is perfectly acceptable to work something out with Mesa (be honest, tell them why you want a day off training), or call Skw, explain your situation, see if they can offer you the interview at a more convenient date.
It sounds to me like you just turned the interview down, without a fight. Imagine you get a day off from your training dept, take and pass the interview at Skw...
The airlines don't try to screw people, they have more important buisiness to work on. Talk to your chief pilot, I have seen that happen a few times. But be honest!
