SkyW Pay Package Out - No concessions

That statement is a bit of a head scratcher for me. Does it mean two lists, or three? What does "all SkyWest policies" mean? It sounds vague to me. I suppose I'll need to stay tuned for an update.

Oh, and since it hasn't been done yet:

You can call it as you like, but you have to admit it is ironic the highest paying regional (and probably the most stable if there such a thing) is a non-union SkyWest. [Compared to all the other ALPA regionals]

What does that have to do with anything?

New Ford & Harrison plot twist. From XJT Union latest update:

"This week the company also indicated that if we so choose the pilots can have the SkyWest Tentative Agreement and all SkyWest policies in lieu of the JCBA, but not a single seniority list."

That be straight up crazy talk.

First... why is it every time I see "Ford and Harrison" I think of Harrison Ford?

Second... I'd imagine there'd be some sort of counter proposal?

I'm amazed at how wide of a margin this will pass by. It's pathetic that everyone is looking at the package in relation to TA's at carriers operating near or under ch.11 - last I checked Skywest is making enough to give COLA adjustments. I can pay for my own medical and underwear myself, how about actually raising the bar. The Kool-aid floweth freely still.
It's because we compete against them for not only future flying but our current flying as well. For some it still makes sense to make a career at the regional level, but for the majority of us we need to GTFO and move up the food chain.
