And I agree it was the most obvious move they set up by giving SAPA what they did, when they did.

That statement is a bit of a head scratcher for me. Does it mean two lists, or three? What does "all SkyWest policies" mean? It sounds vague to me. I suppose I'll need to stay tuned for an update.

I believe that a Skywest "policy" is similar to a "work rule" in the CBA of a unionized carrier.

You can call it as you like, but you have to admit it is ironic the highest paying regional (and probably the most stable if there such a thing) is a non-union SkyWest. [Compared to all the other ALPA regionals]

Think about it; the whipsaw action is worth WAY too much to ever give it away. We lost this chess game 3 years ago when we gave up our scope clause and screwed all three pilot groups.

I'm amazed at how wide of a margin this will pass by. It's pathetic that everyone is looking at the package in relation to TA's at carriers operating near or under ch.11 - last I checked Skywest is making enough to give COLA adjustments. I can pay for my own medical and underwear myself, how about actually raising the bar. The Kool-aid floweth freely still.

It's because we compete against them for not only future flying but our current flying as well. For some it still makes sense to make a career at the regional level, but for the majority of us we need to GTFO and move up the food chain.
