Saw a mirage today.

That was one of the coolest looking things I've seen in a long time, the mirage was up against the Talkeetna range and the northern edge of the alaska range. I don't have a picture, I'll bring my camera to work on friday, see if I can get a shot of it if there's another inversion. Flyordie? did you see it? Way cool.

Most digital cameras can capture limited IR. If you have one, look at the display and shoot your TV remote at it. You should see the IR strobe.
