Reserving the hotel -> don\'t use internet...

I just tried this and of course, it didn't work...

so when you go to reserve the room, call the 800 number and reserve it manually... it will not be reserved under the group rate if you reserve it over the net.

Have you been to Vegas? There is so much to do! There is proabably no middle of the road for people though. You either love it or hate it! As for me Love It.

The event is being held in vegas because it really worked out well last year... there were places to go, things to do at all hours of the day/night... entertainment didn't need to be brought in and we didn't have to be responsible for keeping everyone entertained. it's just a nice, simple gathering and is typically fairly cheap for everyone to be able to get to via plane/car, that's all.

I know it's early, but I was checking to see what's happening when we are there. There is the usual acts, comedy, shows, etc... On Friday night Sep.24, Sting and Annie Lennox are across the street from our hotel at the MGM Grand. Will there be any "UnOfficial" JC goings on? Probably just more of a "see where the night takes us" kind of thing. I think MikeD is planning a JC-Air America training/recruiting event?

I really don't have anything planned other than the actual event on saturday night.. if we want to plan something for friday/saturday "day", then start up a thread on it and lets talk about it!
