Pubnat 5/6

I'm just hoping that those of us who are being forced to go the traditional route won't run into delays. I suppose it's conceivable that we could even move faster than the PEPC people (yeah, right). [Being optimistic]

I have heard of people who have flown through the NON-PEPC route. My thinking is, if your facility is in dire need, they are going to jump through hoops to get you to OKC quickly. Some people have even gotten interim clearances and FOLs before their security clearance was completed. Here's hoping your facility is in dire need!

You also hear of the people who have serious delays for one reason or another. I for one am glad I got the PEPC confirmation. I'd hate to have to be calling those people on a daily basis trying to set stuff up constantly.

:yeahthat: I am so glad I responded when I did. I was so excited at work that I was going to wait til I got home so I could think straight lol. I hope all goes well for this and that ZAU folks will start in fiscal 09..(optimistic...I know). I really dont know how much longer I can stand my current job.

So I know some people were getting their days confused, but not counting those people, has anyone gotten a PEPC invite on a day other than Tues 5/19? Or heard of anyone who had?

Edit: Also not including people whose original email was ammended

The Nuggets have a great team this year. Picking up Billups was one of the best moves they could have made. I'm all for them beating the Lakers and going to the Finals. No need to get all competetive when we aren't even playing eachother yet.

I figured as much, but I went with the basketball. I'm sure that several facilities are hiring specifically for FY'10, but are we sure that there aren't ANY left that still need people for 09?

Ha ha, I know. I actually like the Cavs quite a bit. And by the Cavs I mean Lebron. Having Billups around has been a blessing compared to the crapfest that was Iverson. The news here still won't shut up about Chauncey because he's originally from Denver.

Thats because Billups is a HELL of a player and a stand up guy! Any team would be happy to have him.

So let me get this straight, you're just a fan of Lebron? What do you have against Mo Williams, Delonte West, and Anderson Varejao? (Please note: I haven't named any of our big guys, because I, myself, have something against them!)

I'm 100% sure there are facilities that need people ASAP. Needing people vs. actually getting them is a different story. The chances of Pubnat 5/6ers getting in before october? minimal. Not saying it won't happen, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I don't have anything against them, they just can't put up those kinds of numbers. I mean, Lebron has 35 points per game in the Playoffs so far, compared to Mo's 15. I know he's an Ohio boy, but we certainly wouldn't mind having him here in Denver...:)
