Pictures from the road, Version 2.0

Anybody tried the site through Firefox yet? It's all crazy for me, It starts to load, and I see pics, but then when it's fully loaded all the pictures disappear. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/buck.gif

PS: Not trying to be a nuisance /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif, I can always look at the site through IE.
 
I'm also working on getting a pix site up as well... but it won't just be for me, it'll be for all the other wives out there as well (who are members of FCAPA.org)...

if any of the wives out there have a photo camera... it'll give you guys a good general idea of what we do while your on the road... how hard the pilot mommies work with the kids.. monumental moments that are sometimes missed...what us "dinks" (dual income, no kids) wives do....more like "A day in the life of the pilot wife" type thing! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

it'll be attached to the new FCAPA (new name coming shortly).. but JC'er wives are also more than welcome to join in the fun! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
 
Think I figured it out, It has that scroll thing inside the main scrolly thing, and all the pictures go to the bottom of the frame. The frame seems to be a little big. I can only imagine the time it takes to Code this sucker. I know there are going to be kinks.. Boy I'm looking like a complainer now, But Honest I'm not complaining, just pointing out what I see. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bandit.gif

Yeah, it looks weird in Firefox. But hey, that's why I still use IE on occasion.

Yes...this is really cool! I see the picture where you say you landed in Atlanta. I can't wait to see some pictures later on today! One thing, though, the page with Bogberto's pictures suddenly turns blank after it is finished with loading all the pictures.

EDIT: Never mind, if I scroll down quite a bit I can see all of Bogberto's pictures. It's just some blank space at the top of the page....the pictures didn't disappear. Anyway, thanks to both Doug and Bogberto for sending those pictures!

Tomorrow (Sunday) I'm on ready reserve at the airport for ... 12 hours. Yeah, think I'll be sending roses to crew tracking with a note of "there's more if you let me go home early."

My plan is to have my digital camera with me and take a few pics during the day. I'll post them when I get home Sunday night, assuming I do. Requests are welcome, as long as they don't get me into trouble. Right now I'm paying 25 cents per pix message, so even though I'm an overpaid / rich airline Captain, don't count on too many initially.

Just checked The Pictures from the road and a thought came to me. It would be cool if we could comment to specific pictures and ask you questions about them Doug. How about you make a forum-Room just for that???? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/Smilecrunch.gif Tell me what You think if you ever see this.
 
I just checked Atlanta depatures and see when u were departing. I'm tracking DL1279 right now ALT TO VPS. It says the aircarft is a MD80 at 20100 and climbing and doing like 448 knots..departed at around 4:35...was that you doug?

the map is in the attachment thing^^^^

Yep, Doug flew DL1279 from ATL to VPS. Then I think he does DL1150 from VPS back to ATL. He probably does another flight and lays over somewhere, but I'm not sure.
