Ahh! This is how I change this!
Here are some pictures from the last two months. I got kind of lazy and didn't go through them until last night. As always, I do this for fun and there may be some imperfections in my photos. Comments/Complaints/Suggestions are always welcome. One thing I would like to note is that a lot of the shots are back lit. It's really hard in Toledo to get any good shots during winter because we're on the North side of the field with a east/west runway. Anytime it's nice outside, you're pretty much starring directly into the sun. So a lot of backlit shots take place. I just complain and move on.
Pilatus PC-12 Nose Gear
Pilatus PC-12 AOA vane/probe thinger.
Pilatus PC-12 winglet.
KC-135 getting ready for the 'go' part of touch 'n go.
DC-8 settling nicely on the left main in a textbook crosswind landing.
F-16 just about to touch down.
Old Hansa Jet that the Port Authority uses for fire training.
74 on short final.
Citation X morning sunrise.
Promed heading towards bravo for the hover taxi to the ramp.
Flying up to Manistee for my commercial x/c. I believe this is Jackson, MI but I could be way off.
One of the few pictures were I can get the exposure right to see both the outside and inside. Still trying to figure that out.
Two Allegiant MD-80s on a Sunday morning.
F-16 leaving for a few hours.
Making a lot of noise.
Dorkjet down the way.
Pilatus (as pictured previously) heading out.
Pilatus prop.
Vision Air leaving after bringing Casino goers back.
The newest airline to fall for the DirectAir trap.
Mesaba turned around. Apparently they can't start with a 30 kt steady wind up the tail pipe.
Wingtip vortices just ending.
747 on a soggy Sunday morning.
Just about to touch down.
DC-8 taking off for practice ILS's to touch 'n goes. I assume it was for crew currency/training.
First time seeing a Jetstream 31 out here.
Heading to Chicago. This came in as a sub because the first one broke.
Gear up.
Slowing to taxi speed to exit on D9 to the ramp.
Our hangar stacked on a boring Saturday.
Biscayne departing with the BGSU football team.
On the roll.
This thing was hell getting it in the hangar. They needed it in the hangar to work on the door, which refused to go up the previous day after pax had boarded for departure. We had to use deice fluid on the wheels, coupled with the help of a Port Authority broom truck, we finally got enough traction and momentum to get it in the hangar.
Impressive cockpit of this beast. That's snow on the windshield.
CA side.
FO side.
Two of the Port's snow removal equipment in action. I believe the broom on the left is brand new.
Head on view of the broom.
This T-38 has been broken here since sometime before Christmas.
The new broom can sure move some snow!
