Never forget

My first FAA trainer, and good friend, lost his wife on AA11as he was on his way to ZBW to work the same airspace he trained me in, and that the hijackers took over his wife's aircraft.

I was on an aircraft to London and still to this day can't thank the British people for their hospitality. It took me a week and a half to get home, living at Gatwick airport for 5 of those days.

My NATCA Brothers and Sisters performed heroically that day, without blinking.

As my career comes to an end a week from today, though it was the most tragic event of my life, that day made me proud to be an air traffic controller & American.
