I think everyone has a different set of priorities than others. For me it was bases and stability of the regional. Granted stability is something that changes at regionals quite quickly but you can get a good idea of some to avoid right when you get in. Some might look at upgrades, pay scales, contract work rules etc etc etc.
I'm not saying it's an easy or quick decision to make, it's not. But this clown constantly suggesting it is and you're otherwise dampening your career has to be one of the most shocking and immature recruiting tactics I've seen. He's even gone as far as attacking any carrier outside the big 3.
I always tell people take all advice on the internet with a grain of salt, we all got a different story and a different set of goals and priorities. But this guy needs to be avoided like the plague and should be ignored by any cadet, CFI, pilot trainee, or hell even professional pilot.
My priorities when time comes is it an ALPA carrier. But, honestly as a SKYW cadet they owe me $20k towards my loan, if I pass indoc…
