It's the quietest RJ, and I'd say quieter than a 737.

Oh, And I find the Md88 to be overated in quietness. From my time in Jumpseats id say the 757 is quiet, but the king of quiet is the 717. Its almost strangely quiet like your watching TV with the mute button on.

I only recall one FFDO, and that was during IOE. I don't remember the headset preference.
