Life at Compass

For those in the know......if somebody was hired today, are they staffing for the new aircraft or are they still hiring to cover flows?

I'm just spit balling here, but someone hired today would probably have a March class date. At that point, they will be into the growth I would think. Especially seeing how they'll have a boat load of upgrades going on, flows leaving to Delta, and the first planes are online in March.

Flows and AA aircraft arrivals will happen simultaneously starting March/April. Losing 20 a month to a flow, getting 3 aircraft a month. That means 50 big ones needed each month to account for growth and flow attrition.

Truly ridiculous/awesome to think about at an airline with <550 guys, currently. Needing to hire 1/11th of your seniority list monthly.

That kind of growth could be unhealthy if the company doesn't have the infrastructure and the facilities to handle it. It could either be totally awesome or disastrous.
 
Lets hope Compass has their crap together. One more sequence at envoy and i'm freeeeeeee
