Congratulations!hired!
Can't wait to start training. I was thoroughly impressed with everyone involved in the hiring process. Everyone was so nice and made it such a low threat environment.

Was scheduled for 4 of us, only 2 showed (they said 1 didnt make it in and the other took a job at another airline). I didn't see the other guy after the JKT so I don't know his story.Congrats did they let you know at the interview or called later, my interview is coming up soon. Any tips not yet posted?
Congrats @ian
@spitfire5181 - I'm curious what Ian says, but for myself (almost 4yrs ago) and what I've heard from others- they will tell you after a short break if your hired or not post panel interview.

I just posted a gouge on Aviationinterviews.com so it should be up shortly but heres the down low. I thought the cog test wasnt that bad and i thought the hardest one was the match the tones one...if you can follow directions and multi task you will be fine. Personality test--nothing to say there. The other gouges are really good for a general idea of questions on the JKT. I had about 5-6 questions on ground effect and lift/drag associated with it. Only had 1 question on calculating the descent. around 1/3 of the questions were word for word from the gouges posted online and the rest were juts applying concepts.
HR portion was pretty low threat...seemed like they just wanted to see how you handled situations...after it was over they took me back to the waiting room from the morning and a few minutes later they came in and offered me the job. Said i might get a september class but they will let me know in a week or two. I then did the fingerprints/drug test same day.
I'm pretty stoked. Based on what i've seen online and what i encountered today it's a top notch group of people who really look out for each other. I wish I could start training next week.
see above.
I've flown with quite a few guys that go off the clamps at cruise. It's not too bad. Maybe a tad louder than a 73?I have the Bose A20 - it's excellent and I think it's well worth the $ given the amount of time we spend up there.
I'm not sure what the noise levels in the E-175 are like but the Telex series or other on ear solutions simply don't cut it in the E-145, it's very loud. From my experience trying various headsets in the E-145, except the custom molded in-ear type, the A20's offer the greatest noise reduction.
Hopefully the 175 is quieter, I imagine it is.
"Belts off, tops off"I go speaker as soon as the FOM allows me.
